ANFD Double Seal: FDD-500BB
The FDD-500BB is a multi-spring double cartridge seal with hydraulic balanced seal faces. The "500BB" design comes with integral bearing, metal bellows and 316 Stainless wetted parts.
Rotary Pusher Double Cartridge Seal has Monolithic seal faces, an Integral Bearing and O-Ring secondary seals used for Agitated Nutsche Filter Dryers (ANFD's).
The mechanical seal comes with Multi-Springs, Set Screw Drive and Quench and Drain port connections. It accommodates large amounts of axial shaft movement by using a special inboard metal bellows design.
The seal has a number of design features, comes factory assembled and tested and has been successfully installed in hundreds of applications.
SUPPLY OPTIONS:
- 316 Stainless Steel, Hastelloy or Exotic Alloy wetted parts
- Plan 52/53 Seal Support System, with cooling coil and finned tubing
- Plan 54 Seal Support System (Forced barrier fluid circulation for high heat removal)

The Safe seal performance characteristics are typical characteristics for each variable in isolation. The individual upper limit values of each variable should NOT be used in multiple combinations of Speed, Pressure and Temperature.
